Private GPs

Our private GP service is a highly convenient resource for many people who may have difficulty in booking in to see their NHS GP, or may not have a registered GP in the area.

We are very pleased to have partnered with EssexPrivateGP – a group of independent GPs, also regulated by the CQC – for the provision of expert GP services from Oakdin.

EssexPrivateGP was established in 2008, and believe in keeping the traditional values of a family doctor and providing individual care to you and your family.

Appointments are usually available on the same day and last up to 30 minutes. Home visits are available, with a wide range of modern diagnostic facilities, blood tests, access to specialist consultants, pharmacy and physiotherapy.

Between our GPs there is a wealth of experience and speciality care, if you have a particular query please let us know and we can book you in with the most appropriate GP.

Please note that we encourage you to remain registered with your NHS GP who is often better placed to deal with long-term chronic conditions. With your permission we will share details of your consultation with your NHS GP to allow for continuity of care.
