Ear wax removal Essex

About | Costs | FAQs | Our team

This service is specifically to remove a build up of ear-wax. We hold regular ear syringing clinics on Wednesday and Thursday mornings, although it is sometimes possible to be seen outside of these times.

The clinics are run by our highly experienced nurse, Ann, who has over 20 years’ experience.

Ideally you will have seen your GP who has confirmed that ear-wax is the issue.  The service is not for patients who have general hearing loss and think it might be due to wax.  It is important to see your GP to exclude other causes of hearing loss first.

If ear wax is the problem, then this easy to remove.  You will need to use some drops in your affected ear for 5 days before syringing is attempted, to loosen the wax.

If you would like to make an appointment please contact us.

Coronavirus (COVID 19) Update

The situation regarding COVID 19 is rapidly changing. Our priority is to keep both patients and staff safe during the pandemic. Please do not attend the clinic if:

·         You have traveled to the countries listed on the government website;

·         You have been in contact with someone diagnosed with the coronavirus;

·         You have flu-like symptoms, a cold or fever

If any of the above apply to you, please call to rearrange your appointment.

If you think you have COVID 19 do not go to your GP, pharmacy or local hospital – use the 111 coronavirus helpline

Further information on the coronavirus can be found on the Coronavirus NHS page or Gov.uk.
