Dr Sami Ozturk

Clinical Profile

Dr. Ozturk has been working in the UK since 2004; he completed his postgraduate medical training in England, and has extensive experience working as a Family Physician(GP) both in the UK and Canada. His specialist interest is diabetes and obesity with emphasis on nutritional advice and weight loss assistance. Dr. Ozturk holds a masters degree in diabetes and another in healthcare leadership. He obtained the prestigious Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners as a result of his services in the diabetes field.

Apart from being a GP, Dr. Ozturk has experience of working in paediatric, emergency, gynaecology and medicine for elderly departments, in addition to helping patients experiencing mental health problems as part of his GP clinic. Dr. Ozturk can assess and provide joint injections when needed for joint pain caused by arthritis.

Dr. Ozturk has two very active children and a wonderful wife who is a fashion designer. Besides English, he is fluent in Turkish and Arabic.
